PL 21 Resources for students

The PL 21 programme is a 2-year programme for Sec 1 and Sec 2 PL-Lites developed by our Staff, in alignment to MOE’s Framework for 21st Century Competencies and Student Outcomes. The PL 21 programme seeks to develop in our students the 21st Century Competencies (21CC) necessary for the globalised world we live in. A part of the PL programme involves the explicit teaching of life skills to help nurture a sense of agency within the girls.

These skills are summarized in the following posters as a handy collection of posters for quick reference, whenever the girls need to draw upon what they have learnt.

Pre-U Chinese Language Elective Programme (CLEP-JC)

The Chinese Language Elective Programme at the Pre-U level (CLEP-JC) aims to nurture promising students who have an aptitude for the Chinese Language to attain a high level of proficiency and enhance their understanding of Chinese literature. All CLEP-JC students must offer H2 Chinese Language & Literature at A level. Outstanding students selected for the programme will be considered for the Chinese Language Elective Scholarship.

The CLEP-JC programme is available at the following schools: Dunman High School (Senior High), Hwa Chong Institution (College), Jurong-Pioneer Junior College, Nanyang Junior College and Temasek Junior College.

Students from the graduating cohort may now visit MOE’s Pre-U CLEP E-outreach website for more information on the programme. The website provides an overview of CLEP-JC (e.g. entry requirements, activities organised by MOE and CLEP-JC centres and scholarship information).

Strengthening positive Teacher-Student Relationships
