Girls' Brigade
The Girls’ Brigade lived out its values through service, shared experiences and student leadership. As GB approaches its centenary, our girls will continue to lead with purpose, serve with heart, and carry forward a legacy of faith, service and sisterhood.
This year, The Girls’ Brigade (GB) embodied our school values and GB core values of Honour, Humility, Courage, and Deep Generosity.
Girls built courage and adaptability playing sitting volleyball (Made for Adventure), and pursued excellence through calligraphy (Made for a Future). Through GB Friend-in-Deed, we partnered with Paya Lebar Methodist Church and our school community to bless others through acts of service, expressing deep generosity and honouring God. Squads showed initiative in the Dr Low Guat Tin Challenge, while bonding games and company camp activities with Raffles Girls’ School strengthened sisterhood. Our Secondary Ones also gained global perspectives interacting with the Methodist School of Cambodia with humility and respect.
Empowered as inspiring leaders, members organised company events including the CCA Fair, Enrolment Service, and camps. Notably, two Sec 3s hosted the national SG75 dialogue with the Minister for Defence and Chief Urban Planner, demonstrating remarkable leadership, honour, and poise. As GB looks ahead to its 100th anniversary next year, our girls will continue to lead with purpose, serve with heart, and carry forward a legacy of faith, service and sisterhood.
