English Debate

ELDDS is the acronym for English Literary, Drama and Debate Society.

PL Debate is a funky and dynamic sorority where learning is taken to the next level. We have frequent exchanges with other schools and provide channels for friendly sparring. We take part in many debate competitions, such as Singapore Secondary Schools Debating Championships, TJC Invitational, MJC Invitational, ACJC Methodist Schools’ Debate Cup, MGS U-14 and RJC U-14.  We are currently in Division 1 in the Singapore Secondary Schools Debating Championships. We also train a group of PL Primary pupils in debate every year.
