2020 DSA-JC Exercise

Introduced in 2005, DSA-JC provides students with the opportunity to seek admission to a Junior College (JC), based on a diverse range of academic and non-academic achievements and talents that they can demonstrate beyond the GCE ‘O’ Level Examination. Students applying to secondary schools and junior colleges through the Direct School Admission (DSA) exercise for entry in 2021 will be able to do so from 12 May 2020.

Please read the important information regarding 2020 DSA-JC and its two phases here so that you will be able to make informed decisions regarding the DSA-JC applications.

  • Must meet eligibility criteria for admission to JC (Raw L1R5≤20points).
  • Must meet subject requirements for English, Mother Tongue  and Mathematics at the GCE O-Level examinations.
  • Students may participate in DSA-JC  and Early Admissions Exercise (EAE) concurrently but can only accept one offer (ie. either a DSA-JC or EAE offer).
  • Students must commit to the chosen JC for the duration of the programme once the offer has been accepted and are not  allowed  to participate in the Joint Admission Exercise (JAE).
