In 2026, PL St John Brigade enjoyed a fulfilling year of growth, service, and camaraderie. We began the year by warmly welcoming our Secondary 1 cadets into the PL SJB family. Together, we strengthened our bonds of friendship and developed our leadership skills during our annual PL SJB Camp.
Throughout the year, our cadets actively participated in numerous events and activities, including the District Annual First Aid Competition, Project Ignite, the St John's Day Commemoration, the PL National Day celebrations, and many other meaningful programmes. These experiences allowed our cadets to challenge themselves, serve others, and grow in confidence and resilience.
We are especially proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of SSSGT Alagarsamy Harini, who was awarded the prestigious Cadet of the Year 2026 award. Her dedication, leadership, and commitment exemplify the values of St John Brigade and serve as an inspiration to all our cadets.
At PL SJB, learning never stops. Throughout the year, our cadets attended First Aid, Home Nursing, and Foot Drill Instructor courses, continually building their competence in the three core pillars of St John Brigade. During our weekly CCA sessions, our senior cadets and instructors faithfully pass on their knowledge and skills to their juniors, ensuring that the spirit of learning, leadership, and service continues to flourish.
Guided by our motto, "For the Service of Humanity”, PL St John Brigade remains committed to developing compassionate leaders who are always ready to serve with courage, skill, and heart.

Mission
PL SJB aims to allow every individual cadet to develop her leadership traits, strengths, interpersonal skills and character by exposing them to a variety of activities.
We aim to:
Provide a meaningful and enriching CCA experience and develop a spirit of camaraderie amongst cadets and officers.
Develop resilience, good character and leadership skills.
Ensure that every cadet attains proficiency in First Aid, Home Nursing and Foot Drill.
Equip cadets with the competency and confidence to render First Aid and Home Nursing to those in need.
